The Healing Power of Food

  • Downtown Presbyterian Church 121 Fitzhugh Street North Rochester, NY, 14614 United States (map)

The healing properties of food have been recorded through folklore, "old wives tales" and simple recipes for thousands of years and from all sides of the globe.  Join us to learn about a variety of foods that have real healing power for some of what ails us in these cold winter months.  Runny noses, aching joints, sore throats and even the "winter blues" can be eased through the right foods.  There will be a variety of items to test and taste as well as a dinner meal to share in together.

The cost is $5 for the expense of the food items.

Meet in the upstairs Dining Room.
